SLIDING ROOF SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the M2 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with connector disconnected.

      M2-6 (OPN) - Body ground BR - Body ground Sliding roof motor open signal Sliding roof OPEN switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      M2-6 (OPN) - Body ground BR - Body ground Sliding roof motor open signal Sliding roof switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      M2-7 (CLS) - Body ground GR - Body ground Sliding roof motor close signal Sliding roof CLOSE switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      M2-7 (CLS) - Body ground GR - Body ground Sliding roof motor close signal Sliding roof switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      M2-8 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the M2 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) connector.

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      M2-7 (CLS) - Body ground GR - Body ground Sliding roof motor close signal Engine switch on (IG), sliding roof open, sliding roof CLOSE switch pressed Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) may have a malfunction.
