DESCRIPTION

The main power source is supplied to the A/C amplifier when the engine switch is on (IG).

The power source is used for operating the A/C amplifier and servo motor, etc.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Tip:

Start the engine before inspection. Check the IG1 relay or battery if the engine does not start.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    INSPECT FUSE (RH ECU-IG)


    1. Remove the RH ECU-IG fuse from the instrument panel junction block RH.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Item Condition Specified Condition
      RH ECU-IG fuse Always Below 1 Ω

    INSPECT A/C AMPLIFIER


    1. A01CEIYE30

      Remove the A/C amplifier with its connectors still connected.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G33-1 (IG+) - G33-14 (GND) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      G33-1 (IG+) - G34-20 (GND2) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (A/C AMPLIFIER - BATTERY)

      Disconnect the A/C amplifier connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G33-1 (IG+) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
      G33-1 (IG+) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (A/C AMPLIFIER - BODY GROUND)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G33-14 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G34-20 (GND2) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
