DESCRIPTION

The A/C amplifier receives a switch signal from the ion generator switch (air purifier switch assembly). Upon receiving the signal, the A/C amplifier sends an indicator illumination signal to the ion generator switch (air purifier switch assembly).

  1. Click here

    INSPECT ION GENERATOR SWITCH (AIR PURIFIER SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Remove the ion generator switch (air purifier switch assembly) (Click here).

    2. A01CB1EE04

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G101-3 (E) - G101-6 (ECU) Ion generator switch (air purifier switch assembly) off 10 kΩ or higher
      G101-3 (E) - G101-6 (ECU) Ion generator switch (air purifier switch assembly) on Below 1 Ω

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ION GENERATOR SWITCH (AIR PURIFIER SWITCH ASSEMBLY) - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G101-3 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ION GENERATOR SWITCH (AIR PURIFIER SWITCH ASSEMBLY) - A/C AMPLIFIER)


    1. Disconnect the G34 A/C amplifier connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G34-18 (NASW) - G101-6 (ECU) Always Below 1 Ω
      G34-18 (NASW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
