AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM Rear Air Conditioning Control Panel Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit consists of the integration control and panel assembly (rear A/C control assembly) and the A/C amplifier. When the integration control and panel assembly (rear A/C control assembly) is operated, signals are transmitted to the A/C amplifier through the LIN communication system.

If the LIN communication system malfunctions, the A/C amplifier does not operate even if the integration control and panel assembly (rear A/C control assembly) is operated.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. A01CFVQE04

      Disconnect the integration control and panel assembly (rear A/C control assembly) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R9-12 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R9-12 (E) - R9-7 (IG+) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      Disconnect the A/C amplifier connector.

    2. A01CFVQE06

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G34-13 (RLIN) - R9-5 (RLIN) Always Below 1 Ω
      G34-13 (RLIN) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  4. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (REAR A/C CONTROL ASSEMBLY)


    1. Replace the integration control and panel assembly (rear A/C control assembly) Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Since the integration control and panel assembly (rear A/C control assembly) cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the integration control and panel assembly (rear A/C control assembly) with a new or a known good one and check that the condition returns to normal.

    2. Operate the integration control and panel assembly (rear A/C control assembly) to check that it functions properly.
