FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER SIDE)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      V5-1 (+) - V5-2 (E) Driver seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω
      V5-1 (+) - V5-2 (E) Driver seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher
      V5-3 (RDC) - V5-2 (E) Driver seat belt unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      V5-3 (RDC) - V5-2 (E) Driver seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      W13-1 (+) - W13-2 (E) Driver seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω
      W13-1 (+) - W13-2 (E) Driver seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher
      W13-3 (RDC) - W13-2 (E) Driver seat belt unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      W13-3 (RDC) - W13-2 (E) Driver seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (for driver side).

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (FOR FRONT PASSENGER SIDE)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      W3-1 (+) - A-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      W3-2 (E) - A-3 Front passenger seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω
      W3-2 (E) - A-3 Front passenger seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      V13-1 (+) - A-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      V13-2 (E) - A-3 Front passenger seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω
      V13-2 (E) - A-3 Front passenger seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (for front passenger side).
