FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat) REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT


    1. A01CCLM

      Install the active headrest lower unit with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

    2. Install the clamp.

  2. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT


    1. A01CCL6E01

      Install the active headrest upper unit with the 4 nuts <B>.

      Torque:
      14 N*m  { 143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf }

    2. Install the active headrest lower unit cable with the nut <A>.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR

      Install the 2 front seat cushion edge protectors.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    CAUTION:


    • The nuts must not be reused.

    • Make sure that the front seat frame with adjuster assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

      Install the front seat side airbag assembly with 2 new nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }
    2. A01CEUJ

      Engage the 3 clamps.

    3. A01CFR5E01

      Engage the claw and 5 clamps to connect the wire harness.

    4. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. A01CB8N

      Engage the 2 clamps to install the front seat wire.

    2. Connect the connector.

  6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH


    1. A01CBFC

      Engage the claw to install the front seat lower cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

  7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH


    1. A01CDUY

      Engage the claw to install the front seat lower cushion shield RH as shown in the illustration.

  8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE INNER COVER LH


    1. A01CEVM

      Install the reclining adjuster inside inner cover LH with screw.

  9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE INNER COVER RH


    1. A01CCXY

      Install the reclining adjuster inside inner cover RH with screw.

    2. Engage the clamp to connect the side airbag wire harness.

  10. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE OUTER COVER LH


    1. A01CCRM

      Install the reclining adjuster inside outer cover LH with screw.

  11. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE OUTER COVER RH


    1. A01CD32

      Install the reclining adjuster inside outer cover RH with screw.

  12. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTER SPACER (for Driver Side)


    1. A01CBAG

      Engage the claw to install the vertical adjuster spacer.

  13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. A01CBCS

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 11 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  14. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK POCKET CLIP

      Install the 2 front seatback pocket clips to the separate type front seatback cover as shown in the illustration.

  15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Temporarily install the separate type front seatback cover with pad to the front seatback frame.

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

    3. A01CALQ

      Install the nut to connect the separate type front seatback cover bracket.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • For a vehicle with side airbag, the side airbag may not be activated normally unless the seatback cover is securely installed.

      • Check that the strap has no twist after installing the bracket.

    4. A01CCOA

      Using hog ring pliers, install the 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

    5. A01CCPT

      Close the 2 fasteners.

    6. A01CDNT

      Using hog ring pliers, install the 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  16. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HOOK


    1. A01CCG6

      Engage the claw.

    2. Install the front seatback hook with the screw.

  17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CEO4

      Install the front seat armrest assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  18. INSTALL SEAT ARMREST COVER


    1. A01CBE2

      Engage the 3 claws to install the seat armrest cover.

  19. INSTALL CONNECTOR HOLDER (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. A01CCFN

      Install the connector holder to the occupant detection sensor connector.

  20. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. A01CBHM

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 15 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  21. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. A01CAOY

      Engage the 5 hooks.

    2. Install the 2 clips.

    3. for Driver Side:


      1. A01CC45

        Engage the 4 hooks.

    4. for Front Passenger Side:


      1. A01CF1E

        Engage the 4 hooks.

      2. Connect the occupant detection sensor connector as shown in the illustration.

    5. A01CGFL

      As shown in the illustration, bend the front part of the front seat cushion frame.

  22. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. A01CDEME01

      Install the front seat inner belt assembly LH with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly LH to overlap the protruding parts of the front seat adjuster.

    2. A01CBM3

      Engage each clamp.

    3. Connect each connector.

  23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Driver Side)


    1. A01CFIME01

      Install the front seat inner belt assembly RH with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly RH to overlap the protruding parts of the front seat adjuster.

    2. A01CBXG

      Engage each clamp.

    3. Connect the connector.

  24. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD


    1. A01CAMN

      Engage the guide.

    2. Engage the clip and the claw.

    3. Install the front seat inner cushion shield with the screw.

  25. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Engage the guide.

    2. Engage the clip and the claw.

    3. Install the front seat cushion shield with the screw.

      Engage the 2 hooks (front seatback pocket clip).

  26. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Engage the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle.

  27. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)


    1. A01CGDO

      Install the vertical adjusting handle with the 2 screws.

  28. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTER COVER (for Driver Side)


    1. A01CECK

      Engage the 3 claws to install the vertical adjuster cover.

  29. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB (for Driver Side)


    1. A01CCHN

      Install the snap ring to the vertical seat adjuster knob.

    2. A01CBUI

      Install the vertical seat adjuster knob.

  30. INSTALL LOWER FRONT SEAT LEG COVER


    1. A01CF8Y

      Install the lower front seat leg cover.

  31. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CDF2

      Install the front seat leg assembly with the 5 nuts.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    2. Engage the 2 clamps.

    3. Connect each connector.

  32. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
