DESCRIPTION

When the position control ECU and switch assembly does not receive a sensor signal despite forward or backward movement of the seat by power seat motor operation, this DTC is stored.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / D-Seat / DTC.

    5. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    6. Check for DTCs Click here.

  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Enter the following menus: Body / D-Seat / Active Test.

    2. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the intelligent tester.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH ASSEMBLY - SLIDE MOTOR)


    1. Disconnect the V16*1 or W16*2 connector from the position control ECU and switch assembly.

    2. Disconnect the V14*1, W15*2 connector from the slide motor.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.


      • *1: for RHD

      • *2: for LHD

    1. Reconnect the W17 connector to the position control ECU and switch assembly.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  5. INSPECT FRONT SEAT FRAME WITH ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (SLIDE MOTOR)


    1. Disconnect the V14*1, W15*2 connector from the slide motor.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
