FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Passenger Side Power Seat) DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    3. Remove the 5 nuts and the front seat leg assembly.

  3. REMOVE LOWER FRONT SEAT LEG COVER

      Remove the lower front seat leg cover.

  4. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB


    1. A01CDAO

      Using a moulding remover, remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  5. REMOVE SLIDE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, remove the slide power seat switch knob as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. A01CFUD

      Remove the 3 screws.

    3. Disengage the 8 claws and 2 guides.

    4. Disengage the 2 clamps from the front seat cushion shield.

    5. Disconnect the connector and remove the front seat cushion shield and No. 2 reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CBSI

      Remove the 2 screws and the front power seat switch assembly from the front seat cushion shield.

  8. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front power seat switch.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 7 claws, clip and 2 guides and remove the front seat inner cushion shield and No. 2 reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect each connector.

    2. A01CANQ

      Disengage each clamp.

    3. A01CC1D

      Remove the nut and the front seat inner belt assembly.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH


    1. A01CEWN

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips and remove the No. 1 front seat inner cushion shield LH.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 2 clips and remove the No. 1 front seat inner cushion shield RH.

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT FOOTREST COVER

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 2 front seat footrest cover.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the screw and front seat plate sub-assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT PLATE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the screw and front seat plate sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT COVER (for RH Side)

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and guide, and remove the front seat cover.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER RH

      Remove the screw and the front seat cushion hinge cover RH.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT COVER (for LH Side)

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and guide, and remove the front seat cover.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER LH

      Remove the screw and the front seat cushion hinge cover LH.

  20. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Disengage the clamp.

    2. Disengage the 4 hooks.

    3. Disconnect the occupant detection sensor connector.

    4. for Leather Seat:


      1. Disconnect the connector.

      Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

    6. Disengage the 4 clips.

    7. Disengage the 8 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  21. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Disengage the 2 fasteners.

    2. A01CE9O

      Remove the 18 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  22. REMOVE CONNECTOR HOLDER

      Remove the connector holder from the occupant detection sensor connector.

  23. REMOVE FOOTREST ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts and the footrest assembly.

  24. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 FRONT SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL

      Using a moulding remover, remove the lower No. 3 front seatback lock bezel.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

  25. REMOVE SEAT STAND FRAME CAP

      Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws and 3 guides, and remove the 3 seat stand frame caps.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR

      Remove the 3 screws.

      Disengage the 2 claws while pulling the lever as shown in the illustration, and remove the front seatback edge protector.

  27. REMOVE LOWER FRONT SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 9 hog rings and the lower front seatback cover sub-assembly.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lower No. 1 front seatback lock bezel.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the lower No. 2 front seatback lock bezel.

  34. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seatback board sub-assembly.

  35. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK POCKET CLIP

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws and remove the seat armrest cover.

      Remove the 11 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

  40. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER ARM ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps.

      Remove the 4 bolts and the reclining adjuster arm assembly.

  41. REMOVE SEAT COVER HOOK

      Remove the 2 seat cover hooks.

  42. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT FOOTREST COVER

      Remove the 2 clips and the No. 1 seat footrest cover.

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the No. 1 reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  44. REMOVE NO. 1 RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the No. 1 reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the clamp and guide to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  46. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

    2. Disengage the clamp and guide to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  47. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT WIRE

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp and remove the No. 1 seat wire.

  48. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. Disconnect each connector.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws.

    3. Disengage each clamp and remove the front seat wire.

  49. REMOVE FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the 3 clamps and claw, disconnect the wire harness.

      Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

      Remove the 2 nuts and front seat side airbag assembly.

      CAUTION:


      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the seat frame assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

  50. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT

      Remove the nut <A> and disconnect the active headrest lower unit cable.

    2. Remove the 4 nuts <B> and the active headrest upper unit.

  51. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT

      Remove the clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and the active headrest lower unit.
