TRIP SWITCH INSPECTION


  1. INSPECT TRIP SWITCH

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      7 (+) - 4 (E) ODO/TRIP switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      7 (+) - 4 (E) ODO/TRIP switch is released 10 kΩ or higher
      4 (E) - 2 (TR) Light control up switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      4 (E) - 2 (TR) Light control up switch is released 10 kΩ or higher
      4 (E) - 5 (TC) Light control down switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      4 (E) - 5 (TC) Light control down switch is released 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Apply battery voltage from the wire harness back side between the terminals of the switch, and check the lighting condition of the trip switch.

      OK
      Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

      Battery positive (+) → 8 (ILL+)

      Battery negative (-) → 4 (E)

      		 Always Trip switch illuminates
