LIGHTING SYSTEM Interior Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The illuminated entry system controls the personal light LH, personal light RH, center room light LH and center room light RH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Active Test.

    5. Check the operation.

      Main Body
      Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note
      Illuminated Entry System Personal light LH, personal light RH, center room light LH and center room light RH ON/OFF Light switch is in the DOOR position and all doors are closed
      OK
      Each light fades in.

    NG

    INSPECT FUSE (DOME) Click here

    OK

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Click here

  2. INSPECT FUSE (DOME)


    1. Remove the DOME fuse from the No. 1 engine room relay block.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Display Condition Specified Condition
      DOME fuse Always Below 1 Ω

    NG

    REPLACE FUSE

    OK

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - MAIN BODY ECU)


    1. A01CE2KE06

      Disconnect the 4D main body ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      4D-2 (ILE) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
