    READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the display on the intelligent tester.

    1. Inspect the front door courtesy switches (Click here).

    2. Inspect the slide door courtesy switches (Click here).

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - COURTESY SWITCH)

      Check the harness and connector between the main body ECU and front door courtesy switch RH (for RHD).


      1. Disconnect the G48 main body ECU connector.

      2. Disconnect the M1 switch connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        G48-24 (DCTY) - M1-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        G48-24 (DCTY) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Check the harness and connector between the main body ECU and front door courtesy switch RH (for LHD).


      1. Disconnect the G49 main body ECU connector.

      2. Disconnect the M1 switch connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        G49-21 (PCTY) - M1-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        G49-21 (PCTY) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      1. Disconnect the G49 main body ECU connector.

      2. Disconnect the N3 switch connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      1. Disconnect the G48 main body ECU connector.

      2. Disconnect the N3 switch connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        G48-24 (DCTY) - N3-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        G48-24 (DCTY) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Check the harness and connector between the main body ECU and slide door courtesy switch LH.


      1. Disconnect the 4A main body ECU connector.

      2. Disconnect the N4 switch connector.

      3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below using diode test mode.

        Standard Voltage
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        4A-4 (LCTY) - N4-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        4A-4 (LCTY) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Check the harness and connector between the main body ECU and slide door courtesy switch RH.


      1. Disconnect the G49 main body ECU connector.

      2. Disconnect the M3 switch connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      1. Disconnect the G49 main body ECU connector.

      2. Disconnect the U13*1 or U8*2 back door lock assembly connector.

      3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        G49-25 (BCTY) - U13-3 (CTY)*1 Always Below 1 Ω
