DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU receives the ACC signal to control the illuminated entry system.

  1. INSPECT SMART ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (POWER SOURCE MODE)

    Power source mode operates normally.

    NG

    GO TO SMART ENTRY AND START SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch to on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the display on the intelligent tester.

  3. INSPECT FUSE (ECU-ACC)


    1. Remove the ECU-ACC fuse from the driver side junction block assembly.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      ECU-ACC fuse Always Below 1 Ω

    NG

    REPLACE FUSE

    OK

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. A01CEIFE08

      Disconnect the 5M driver side junction block assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      5M-1 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU)


    1. A01CBOSE01

      Disconnect the 5D driver side junction block assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the 4A main body ECU connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      5D-27 - 4A-26 (ACC) Always Below 1 Ω
      5D-27 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  6. INSPECT DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CB13E02

      Reconnect the 5D driver side junction block assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      5D-27 - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V
      Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
