INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the 4M junction block assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      4M-1 - Body ground Engine switch off 11 to 14 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the G50 and 4A junction block assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G50-1 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      4A-3 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
