  1. ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM


    1. The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:

      Control Outline Light that Operates
      Actuation Area-linked When a registered key enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.

      Door Open-linked When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.

      Door Close-linked When all doors are closed, the lights that operate illuminate for 15 seconds and then turn off.
      Door Lock-linked When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.
      When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on.
      Engine Switch-linked When the engine switch is changed from on (ACC or IG) to off, the lights that operate turn on.

      When the engine switch is changed from off to on (ACC), the lights that operate turn off.

      When the engine switch is changed from off to on (IG), the lights that operate turn on.

      When the engine switch is changed from off to on (IG), the lights that operate turn off.

      Battery Saving When no changes occur in the condition of the doors for 20 minutes and a key is not in the actuation area, these lights turn off.

      Ceiling Light Switch-linked The front ceiling light switch provides the ON/OFF control function for the ceiling lights.

      The rear ceiling light switch provides the dimmer control function or ON/OFF control function for the ceiling lights.

      Tip:

      *1: If the engine switch is changed from off to on (IG) with the shift lever in any position except P, the footwell lights turn on with light adjustment state (3.7% brightness of light on state).

    READING LIGHT (SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY) CONTROL

    1. Reading light (spot light assembly) operation is controlled by the rear seat climate control ECU.

    2. Each reading light (spot light assembly) can be turned on/off using the respective reading light ON/OFF switch on the rear power seat switch located on the left and right 2nd row seats.

    3. Each reading light (spot light assembly) illumination can be adjusted to 4 different levels using the respective reading light dimmer switch (+, -) on the rear power seat switch located on the left and right 2nd row seats.

    4. If 20 minutes elapses with both of the following conditions met, battery saving control turns off the reading light (spot light assembly).


      • Engine switch is off.

      • Any reading light is on.
