SMART ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (for Entry Function) Entry Answer-back Buzzer does not Sound

DESCRIPTION

The smart entry and start system uses the wireless door lock buzzer to perform various vehicle exterior warnings. When the conditions for each warning are met, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) sends a buzzer signal to the wireless door lock buzzer, and the wireless door lock buzzer sounds.

Note

The smart entry and start system (for entry function) uses a multiplex communication system (LIN communication system) and CAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting Click here. Troubleshoot the smart entry and start system (for entry function) after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly.

  1. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER OPERATION


    1. When the wireless operation is used to lock or unlock the doors, check that the wireless door lock buzzer sounds normally Click here.
