DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU monitors communication between all the ECUs connected to the door bus lines. When the main body ECU detects errors in communication with all the ECUs connected to the door bus lines at 2.6-second intervals and 3 times in a row, DTC B2325 will be output.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) is replaced or removed and reinstalled, it requires initialization Click here.

  • When the power window regulator motor assembly is replaced or removed and reinstalled, it requires initialization Click here.

  • When using the intelligent tester to troubleshoot with the engine switch off:

    Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3, and turn the courtesy switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASTER SWITCH - DRIVER SIDE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR)


    1. Disconnect the J10*1 or I3*2 switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the J4*1 or I4*2 motor connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      J10-16 (LIN2) - J4-9 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω
      J10-16 (LIN2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - EACH ECU)


    1. Disconnect the G50 and M2 ECU connectors.

    2. Disconnect the J4*1 or I4*2, K2 and L2 motor connectors.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    3. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Reconnect the G50 and M2 ECU connectors.

    2. Reconnect the I4*1 or J4*2, K2 and L2 motor connectors.

    3. Reconnect the J10*1 or I3*2 switch connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    4. Clear the DTC Click here.

    5. Recheck for DTCs.
