  1. Click here

    SYSTEM CHECK


    1. Check if the vehicle is equipped with a back door closer system.

      Result

  2. Click here

    READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH)


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the intelligent tester.

    INSPECT BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CD46E07

      Remove the back door lock assembly (Click here).

    2. Check operation of the door lock motor.


      1. Move the door lock to the lock position.

      2. Apply battery voltage to the door lock motor and check the operation of the door lock motor.

        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

        Unlocks
    3. Check operation of the door courtesy switch.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 3 Locked 10 kΩ or higher
      1 - 3 Unlocked Below 1Ω

    CHECK WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR


    1. Disconnect the main body ECU connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      U8-2 (ACT+) - G48-1 (TR+) Always Below 1Ω
      U8-2 (ACT+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U8-3 (D+) - G49-25 (BCTY) Always Below 1Ω
      U8-3 (D+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      U8-1 (ACT-) - Body ground Always Below 1Ω
