  1. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH THE INTELLIGENT TESTER

    Tip:

    The following items can be customized.

    Note:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus:

      Body / Main Body or Illuminated Entry / Utility / Customize

    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Hazard Answer Back ON

      When the doors are locked by wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash once.

      When the doors are unlocked by wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash twice.

      OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
      Open Door Warning* ON The buzzer sounds when lock is pressed when any of the doors are ajar. OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
      Auto Lock Time 30 s Function that regulates the interval between unlocking and automatic relocking of doors 30 s, 60 s or 120 s Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
      Wireless Buzzer Resp* ON Wireless door lock buzzer response OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)

  2. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITH MULTI-DISPLAY (W/ NAVIGATION SYSTEM (FOR HDD))


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Enter the following menus: SETUP / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Door lock setting.

    3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
      Lock/unlock feedback-lights On

      When the doors are locked by wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash once.

      When the doors are unlocked by wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash twice.
