MAIN BODY ECU REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE MAIN BODY ECU (PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY) (for RHD)

      Disconnect each front side connector indicated by the arrows in the illustration.

    2. Disconnect connector A as shown in the illustration.

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and clamp.

    4. A01CG1O

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides. Then disconnect the fusible link block assembly.

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    6. A01CB9B

      Remove the bolt and nut.

    7. A01CCIO

      Disconnect each back side connector and remove the junction block assembly with bracket as shown in the illustration.

    8. A01CGFX

      Disengage the claw and guide, and remove the main body ECU (passenger side junction block assembly) from the junction block bracket.

  3. REMOVE MAIN BODY ECU (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY) (for LHD)

    Use the same procedure for the main body ECU (driver side junction block assembly) and main body ECU (passenger side junction block assembly).
