DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

Tech Tips

The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) controls the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that are customizable via the multi-display screen.

  1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the intelligent tester to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally Click here.

      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK SMART ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (for Entry Function)


    1. Check if the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function) is malfunctioning Click here.

      Tech Tips

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function).

      OK
      No malfunctions are present in the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function).

  3. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Door lock settings" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU related system.

      Tech Tips

      These items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed manually. In the following step, change the items manually.


      1. Check the customize parameters list for the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that can be customized via the multi-display screen Click here.

    3. Confirm that it is possible to manually change the settings of the customize parameters for each system that are available for customization via the multi-display screen.
