   1. Check that the remote control operation of the rear seat entertainment system is not locked by the screen of the navigation ECU sub-assembly.

      
      

      1. Check if "Rear System Locked" appears on the television display assembly.

         OK
         The message does not appear.

   
   

   NG

   RELEASE LOCK

   OK

2. CHECK REMOTE CONTROLLER BATTERY

   
   

   1. Check that the dry-cell battery of the remote controller is not depleted.

      OK
      It is not depleted.

   
   

   NG

   REPLACE REMOTE CONTROLLER BATTERY

   OK

3. CLEAN INFRARED RAY EMITTING PORTION
