RADIO ANTENNA CORD REMOVAL


  1. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the 9 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. w/o Front Center Speaker:


      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the bolt.

      2. Disengage the 8 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. w/ Front Center Speaker:


      1. Disconnect the connector and remove the bolt.

      2. Disengage the 7 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  4. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 WASHER HOSE (w/o Sliding Roof)


    1. Peel off the strips of the tape used to secure the washer hose and antenna cord only enough to allow removal of the rear No. 2 washer hose and No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly. (Procedure A)

      Tech Tips

      Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the roof headlining so that the tape can be reused.

    2. Disengage the 10 clamps and remove the rear No. 2 washer hose.

  6. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 WASHER HOSE (w/ Sliding Roof)


    1. Peel off the strips of the tape used to secure the washer hose and antenna cord only enough to allow removal of the rear No. 2 washer hose and No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly. (Procedure A)

      Tech Tips

    2. Disengage the 10 clamps and remove the rear No. 2 washer hose.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Sliding Roof)


    1. Peel off the strips of the tape used to secure the washer hose and antenna cord only enough to allow removal of the rear No. 2 washer hose and No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips


      • If the strip of the tape have already been peeled off in procedure A, this step is not necessary.

      • Tape is not available as a supply part. Try to leave as much tape as possible on the roof headlining so that the tape can be reused.

    2. Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the roof headlining.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Sliding Roof)


    1. Peel off the strips of the tape used to secure the washer hose and antenna cord only enough to allow removal of the rear No. 2 washer hose and No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

      Tech Tips


      • If the strips of the tape have already been peeled off in procedure A, this step is not necessary.

    2. Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the roof headlining.
