DESCRIPTION

When an incorrect ECM or an incorrect skid control ECU is installed after the assist map has been recorded in the power steering ECU assembly, then DTC C1582 is stored because the data does not match the vehicle specifications.

If the power steering ECU assembly has been replaced with a new one, perform rotation angle sensor value initialization and torque sensor zero point calibration Click here.

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Using the intelligent tester, check for DTCs and confirm that there are no problems in the CAN communication system Click here.

      DTC is not output.

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Click here

  2. CHECK ECM


    1. Check if a ECM that complies with the vehicle specifications is installed.
