INSTALL FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE
Install the front flexible hose to the front disc brake cylinder assembly with a new union bolt and a new gasket.
Note
The left and right side hose each has a different shape. When replacing the front flexible hoses with new ones, confirm whether each part number is correct, and be sure to install them in the correct position and direction.
When reusing the front flexible hoses, check the identification marks put on at removal, and be sure to install the hoses in the correct position and direction.
Install the front flexible hose and speed sensor harness bracket to the absorber bracket with the bolt.
Note
First, install the flexible hose bracket, and then install the speed sensor harness bracket.
Install the front flexible hose to the steering knuckle with the bolt.
Secure the front flexible hose with a new clip.
Note
Check the inner part of the clip and make sure that it is correctly installed.
While holding the front flexible hose with a wrench, connect the brake tube to the front flexible hose using a union nut wrench (10 mm).
Note
Do not kink or damage the brake line.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake line from the clip or bracket.
Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 250 mm (9.84 in.).
This torque value is effective when the union nut wrench is parallel to the torque wrench.
