Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.
The following procedure listed is for the LH side.
REMOVE REAR WHEEL
DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
Note
If brake fluid leaks onto any painted surface, immediately wash it off.
REMOVE REAR BRAKE TUBE FLEXIBLE HOSE
For LH side
While holding the rear brake tube flexible hose with a wrench, separate the brake tube from the rear brake tube flexible hose using a union nut wrench (10 mm). Perform this step for both ends of the hose.
Note
Do not kink or damage the brake line.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line.
Remove the 2 clips and disconnect the rear brake tube flexible hose from the body.
Note
The left and right side hose each has a different shape. When disconnecting both the rear brake tube flexible hoses, make sure to put an identification mark on each hose.
For RH side
While holding the rear brake tube flexible hose with a wrench, separate the brake tube from the rear brake tube flexible hose using a union nut wrench (10 mm). Perform this step for both ends of the hose.
Note
Do not kink or damage the brake line.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line.
Remove the 2 clips and disconnect the rear brake tube flexible hose from the body.

REMOVE REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE LH
While holding the rear brake flexible hose LH with a wrench, separate the brake tube from the rear flexible hose LH using a union nut wrench (10 mm).

Do not kink or damage the brake line.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line.
Remove the clip and disconnect the rear flexible hose LH from the bracket.
Remove the union bolt, rear flexible hose LH and gasket from the rear disc brake cylinder assembly.
