SHIFT LEVER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the indicator light wire connector and 5 wire harness clamps from the position indicator housing assembly.

    2. Rotate the indicator light wire counterclockwise to align the key part and remove the wire.

  2. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT CAP


    1. Remove the position indicator light cap from the position indicator light bulb.

  3. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT BULB


    1. Remove the position indicator light bulb from the indicator light wire.

  4. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 screws and position indicator housing assembly from the center instrument cluster finish panel.

  5. REMOVE UPPER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING


    1. A01CGD0

      Disconnect the 4 claws and remove the upper position indicator housing from the lower position indicator housing.

  6. REMOVE POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. A01CAPF

      Remove the position indicator slide cover from the lower position indicator housing.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER


    1. Remove the No. 2 position indicator slide cover from the position indicator slide cover.

  8. REMOVE LOWER POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the lower position indicator housing from the shift lock control unit assembly.
