    REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE

    REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY (for 1.6 kW Type)

      Disconnect the starter connector.

    2. Open the terminal cap, remove the nut and disconnect the starter wire.

    3. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts and starter.

  3. Click here

    DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS

      Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the transaxle wire connector.

    3. Disconnect the speed sensor connectors.

    4. Disconnect the wire harness clamps.

  4. Click here

    DISCONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE

      Disconnect the 2 oil cooler hoses from the automatic transaxle.

  5. Click here

    REMOVE REAR ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET

      Remove the 3 bolts and rear engine mounting bracket.

    REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET

      Remove the 3 bolts and front engine mounting bracket.

    REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET LH

      Remove the 3 bolts and engine mounting bracket LH.

  8. Click here

    REMOVE FLYWHEEL HOUSING UNDER COVER

      Remove the flywheel housing under cover.

    SEPARATE DRIVE PLATE AND TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SETTING BOLT

      Using SST, hold the crankshaft pulley.

      Remove the 6 drive plate and torque converter clutch setting bolts.

      Tip:

      There will be one black colored bolt.

    REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 lower side mounting bolts.

    2. A01CETI

      Remove the 5 upper side mounting bolts.

    3. Separate and remove the automatic transaxle.

    REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CDGH

      Remove the ATF dipstick from the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the bolt and transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.

    REMOVE NO. 1 TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE BRACKET

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

    REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE SUPPORT

      Remove the bolt, transmission control cable support and wire harness clamp bracket.
