EXHAUST PIPE REMOVAL

CAUTION:


  • Wear protective gloves when removing the exhaust pipe.


  • The exhaust pipe is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.


  • Confirm that the exhaust pipe has cooled down before removing it.


  1. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01CAU0

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

    2. Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the gasket from the exhaust forked pipe sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.

    2. Remove the center exhaust pipe assembly (for Rear Side) from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

    3. Remove the gasket center exhaust pipe assembly (for Front Side).

  3. REMOVE OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1)

  4. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and center exhaust pipe assembly (for Front Side).

    2. Remove the 2 gaskets from the center exhaust pipe assembly (for Front Side).

  5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the No. 2 oxygen sensor connector (for Bank 2).

    2. A01CDM6

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket.

    3. Remove the 2 nuts and front exhaust pipe assembly.

    4. Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2)

      Using SST, remove the No. 2 oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
