    INSTALL VENTILATION VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

      Adhesive
      Toyota genuine adhesive 1324, three bond 1324 or equivalent

    2. Using a ball joint lock nut wrench (22 mm), install the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

      19 N*m 194 kgf*cm 14 ft.*lbf
      Note:

      Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a ball joint lock nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench (Click here).

    CONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE


    1. Connect the No. 2 ventilation hose to the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

  3. Click here

    INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL


    1. A01CCFB

      Install the outer cowl top panel with the 8 bolts.

      8.8 N*m 90 kgf*cm 78 in.*lbf

    2. Connect the 2 clamps to the outer cowl top panel.

    3. Remove the protective tape.

    INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR WITH BRACKET

      Install the brake master cylinder reservoir with bracket to the outer cowl top panel with the 2 nuts.

      6.5 N*m 66 kgf*cm 58 in.*lbf

    INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the windshield wiper motor and link assembly (Click here).
