CANISTER INSTALLATION

INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

  *1 O-ring
  
  Apply a light coat of gasoline to 2 new O-rings, and install them onto the fuel pressure regulator.
2. Install the fuel pressure regulator to the fuel filter.
INSTALL FUEL PUMP
1. Connect the pump harness connector.

  *2 Spacer
  
  Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring and spacer to the fuel pump.
3. Engage the 5 claws to install the fuel pump.
  Note
  
  Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during the installation.
  
  Engage the claws securely.
INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT
1. Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 fuel suction support.

  *1 Jet Pump
  
  *2 O-ring
  
  Apply gasoline to a new O-ring and install it to the jet pump.
3. Install the jet pump while aligning it with the installation position of the sub-tank.
  
  Note
  
  Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during the installation.
4. Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 1 fuel suction support.
5. Connect the wire harness to the 3 harness clamps.
6. Connect the wire harness connector.
INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY
1. Install the fuel sender gauge assembly by sliding the sender gauge downward.
2. Connect the wire harness to the 4 harness clamps.
  
  Note
  
  Do not damage the wire harness.
3. Connect the connector of the fuel sender gauge assembly.
4. Install the 2 harness protectors and connect the harness clamp.
  
  Note
  
  Do not damage the wire harness.
