The following items can be customized.

Note


  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

  • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

  • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


  1. TOYOTA PARKING ASSIST-SENSOR SYSTEM


    1. Customizing with the intelligent tester

      • *1: This item is used to allow or prevent the Toyota parking assist-sensor system from being displayed on the navigation display. For this model, some vehicles are not equipped with the navigation system. On these vehicles, the Display Mode item is not available.

    2. Customizing with the Multi-display (w/ Navigation System (for HDD))


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Turn the clearance sonar main switch on.

      3. Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / TOYOTA park assist.

      4. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Alert volume 3 Sets the buzzer alert volume.

      Auto Lock* ON Function that locks all doors when the vehicle speed reaches a certain level. OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
      Auto Lock/Shift* OFF With the engine running and all doors closed, function that locks all doors when the shift lever is moved from P to any position other than P. OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
      Auto Unlock/Shift* OFF Function that unlocks all doors when the shift lever is moved to P from any position other than P while the engine switch is on (IG). OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
      All Unlock/Open-Close* OFF Function that unlocks the other doors when the driver side door is opened within 10 seconds after the engine switch is turned off. OFF or ON Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)

    2. Customizing with the Multi-display (w/ Navigation System (for HDD))


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Enter the following menus: SETUP / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Door lock setting.

      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

  4. SMART ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (for Entry Function)

    2. Customizing with the Multi-display (w/ Navigation System (for HDD))


      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

      2. Enter the following menus: SET UP / Vehicle / Vehicle Customization / Door lock settings.

      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Entry and start system On Function that enables or disables the smart entry and start system. On or Off
  5. Electrical Key Cancel

    The electrical key cancel operation disables the following functions:


    • Entry Unlock/Lock

    • Entry Ignition

    • Entry Back Door Open

    • Electrical Key Lock-in Prevention

    • Warning

    • Memory Call


    1. The operation procedures are as follows:

      Precondition:

      Engine switch off, driver side door closed and unlocked.


      1. Unlock the driver side door once with the UNLOCK switch of the electrical key.

      2. Open the driver door within 5 seconds.

      3. Unlock the driver side door twice with the UNLOCK switch of the electrical key within 5 seconds.

      4. Close and open the driver door twice within 30 seconds.

        (Driver door: Close → Open → Close → Open)

      5. Unlock the driver side door twice with the UNLOCK switch of the electrical key within 5 seconds.

      6. Close and open the driver door within 30 seconds.

        (Driver door: Close → Open)

      7. Close the driver door within 5 seconds.

        When electrical key cancel is activated, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds twice.

        To return to the original condition, perform the procedures again. When the original condition is returned, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds once.

  6. SMART ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (for Start Function)

  7. LIGHTING SYSTEM (INT)

    Lighting Time 15 s Changes the lighting time after closing all of the doors. (It will fade out immediately in case of turning the engine switch from off to on (ACC or IG).) 7.5 s, 15 s or 30 s
    Illumination System ON Lights up the footwell lights and ceiling lights when one of the following occurs: the engine switch is turned on (IG), or any door is unlocked or opened. ON or OFF
    Light Control ON Dims (ON setting) or turns off (OFF setting) the footwell lights under the following conditions: engine switch on (IG), shift lever not in P, and all doors closed. ON or OFF
    I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock ON Lights up the personal light LH, personal light RH, center room light LH, center room light RH and engine switch illumination when doors are unlocked using a mechanical key or door control transmitter. ON or OFF
    I/L when ACC OFF ON Lights up the personal light LH, personal light RH, center room light LH, center room light RH and engine switch illumination when the engine switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off. ON or OFF

  11. AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

      Set Temperature Shift Normal Function to perform control with the shifted temperature versus the displayed temperature -2C, -1C, Normal, +1C, +2C
      Evaporator Control Automatic Function to set the evaporator control to the AUTOMATIC position (AUTO) to save power or to the coldest position (MANUAL) to dehumidify the air and to prevent the windows from fogging up Automatic or Manual
      Compressor/Air Inlet DEF operation Link Function to automatically turn the A/C on linked with the FRONT DEF button when the A/C is off Link or Normal

        Smog sensor sensitivity 0 Function to change the sensitivity of the exhaust gas sensor. -3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, +3 A/C Amplifier
        Auto A/C mode On Function to turn the A/C ON automatically by pressing the AUTO button when the blower is ON and the A/C is OFF. On or Off A/C Amplifier
        Efficient ventilation mode On In case of turning the A/C ON to cool the cabin down quickly, this is the function to change the mode automatically to RECIRCULATION mode On or Off A/C Amplifier
  12. POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM

    Door Key P/W Up OFF Function that raises all power windows when, with engine switch off, key in driver door key cylinder is turned to and held in lock position for more than 1.5 seconds ON/OFF
    Door Key P/W Down OFF Function that lowers all power windows when, with engine switch off, key in driver door key cylinder is turned to and held in unlock position for more than 1.5 seconds ON/OFF
    P/W Up W/ Transmit OFF Function that raises all power windows when, with engine switch off, lock switch on transmitter is pressed and held for more than 3.0 seconds ON/OFF
    P/W Down W/ Transmit OFF Function that lowers all power windows when, with engine switch off, unlock switch on transmitter is pressed and held for more than 3.0 seconds ON/OFF
    P/W Up W/ Smart OFF Function that raises all power windows when, with engine switch off, entry lock switch on driver side door outer handle is pressed and held for more than 3.0 seconds ON/OFF

  15. LIGHTING SYSTEM (EXT)
