REAR BUMPER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    *1 Double-sided Tape

    1. Detach the 5 double-sided tapes and remove the rear bumper energy absorber from the rear bumper cover.

  2. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. Remove the 5 clamps and No. 5 floor wire.

  3. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light)

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the 5 clamps and No. 5 floor wire.

  4. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 clamps and No. 5 floor wire.

  5. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 5 floor wire.

  6. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Rear Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 5 floor wire.

  7. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Rear Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 5 floor wire.

  8. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Use the same procedure to remove the ultrasonic sensor clip on the other side.


    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Use the same procedure to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor on the other side.


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Use the same procedure to remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer on the other side.


    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the rear bumper protector.

  12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  13. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and clamp and remove the light.

  14. REMOVE REAR FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Rear Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the reflex reflector.

  16. REMOVE REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH (w/o Rear Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION RH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the rear bumper extension.

  18. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD (for 5 Door)

    1. Remove the 4 rear bumper pads.

  19. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PAD (for 3 Door)

    1. Remove the 2 rear bumper pads.
