FRONT BUMPER REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. Attach the 13 claws to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

    2. Install the screw.

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the front bumper hole cover.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the front bumper hole cover.

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

  6. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)


    1. Install the fog light with the screw.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to install the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer on the other side.


    1. Align the keyhole and protrusion as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the ultrasonic sensor retainer to the front bumper cover.

      Note

      Do not damage the bumper cover with the protrusion when installing the retainer.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor on the other side.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

    2. Connect the connector.

  10. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Attach the 7 clamps to install the No. 2 engine room wire.

    2. Connect the 4 connectors.

  11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD PLATE (w/ Garnish)


    1. Install the front bumper guard plate with the 3 nuts.

  12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD (w/ Garnish)


    1. Install the front bumper guard with the 7 nuts.

  13. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD BRACKET LH (w/ Garnish)


    1. Install the front bumper guard bracket with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

  14. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD BRACKET RH (w/ Garnish)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  15. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD BASE COVER (w/ Garnish)


    1. Install the front bumper guard base cover with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

  16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD PAD (w/ Garnish)

    Use the same procedure to install the front bumper guard pad on the other side.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front bumper guard pad.

  17. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly with the bolt.

  18. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  19. INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Attach the 5 clamps to install the hose from the front bumper cover.

    2. Connect the No. 1 headlight cleaner hose to the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly.

  20. INSTALL TYPE 1 HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Connect a new washer nozzle sub-assembly to the washer hose.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the washer nozzle sub-assembly.

  21. INSTALL TYPE 1 HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  22. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER LH (w/ Front Spoiler)


    1. Install the front bumper spoiler with the 2 lower front bumper retainers.

  24. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (w/ Bracket)


    1. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.
