FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (w/ Bracket)

    1. Remove the 2 screws and front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER LH (w/ Front Spoiler)

    1. Turn the retainers 90° and remove the 2 lower front bumper retainers and front spoiler.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER RH (w/ Front Spoiler)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE TYPE 1 HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and separate the washer nozzle sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the windshield.

      Disconnect the washer nozzle sub-assembly from the washer hose.

      Note

      Washer nozzles cannot be reused.

  5. REMOVE TYPE 1 HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Disconnect the No. 1 headlight cleaner hose from the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly.

    2. Detach the 5 clamps and remove the hose from the front bumper cover.

  7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Remove the bolt.

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD PAD (w/ Garnish)

    Use the same procedure to remove the front bumper guard pad on the other side.


    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper guard pad.

  10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD BASE COVER (w/ Garnish)


    1. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper guard base cover.

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD BRACKET LH (w/ Garnish)

    1. Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and front bumper guard bracket.

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD BRACKET RH (w/ Garnish)

  13. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD (w/ Garnish)

    1. Remove the 7 nuts and front bumper guard.

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD PLATE (w/ Garnish)

    1. Remove the 3 nuts and front bumper guard plate.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Disconnect the 4 connectors.

    2. Detach the 7 clamps and remove the No. 2 engine room wire.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure to remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor on the other side.


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Use the same procedure to remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer on the other side.


    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

  18. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Remove the screw and fog light.

  24. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the 13 claws and remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.
