FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for HID Headlight)

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note


    • After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL


    1. Remove the 13 clips and upper radiator support seal.

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

    1. Detach the 4 clips and remove the front bumper side seal.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Put protective tape around the radiator grille.

    2. Remove the 2 clips and 2 bolts.

    3. Detach the 8 claws and remove the radiator grille.

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    1. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts labeled A and 2 bolts labeled B.

    3. Remove the 6 screws and 6 clips.

    4. Detach the 12 claws.

    5. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    6. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/o Fog Light:

      Disconnect the connector.

    7. w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System, w/ Fog Light:

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    8. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:

      Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose.

    9. Remove the front bumper cover.

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    1. Remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  8. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

    1. Remove the clip, 5 bolts and lower front bumper cover.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the 6 nuts and front bumper reinforcement.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Remove the 4 bolts and No. 2 front bumper extension.

  11. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER BAR REINFORCEMENT LH

    1. Remove the 2 screws and front bumper bar reinforcement.

  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Using a clip remover, detach 2 claws and remove the front bumper side support.

      Note

      Tape the clip remover tip before use.

  18. REMOVE UPPER CENTER FRONT BUMPER RETAINER
