FRONT CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT (for Bench Seat Type) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LAP OUTER BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *1 Band of Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly
      *2 limiter

      Insert the floor anchor of the front seat lap outer belt sub-assembly into the upper surface of the seat and pass it through the band of the front seat inner belt assembly RH as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      The limiter should be above the upper surface of the seat.

    2. Install the front seat assembly RH.


      1. Return the front seat assembly to its original position.

      2. Connect the connector and attach the wire harness clamp under the seat.

      3. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the rearmost position.

        Install the 2 bolts and tighten them in the order shown in the illustration.

        Torque:
        37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

      5. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the foremost position.

      6. A00OANNE01

        Install the 2 bolts and tighten them in the order shown in the illustration.

        Torque:
        37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    3. Connect the front seat lap outer belt sub-assembly to the floor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not pinch the carpet.

  2. INSTALL INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the inner seat track bracket cover RH.

  3. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER RH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the seat track cover RH.

  4. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH


    1. Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat assembly RH to the rearmost position.

    2. Attach the 2 claws to install the front inner seat track bracket cover RH.

  5. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER RH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front outer seat track bracket cover RH.
