FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (for Walk in Seat Type) REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the RH side.


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the front seat assembly Click here.

  2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH

    1. Raise the reclining adjuster release handle to reveal the claw. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the handle.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

    1. Remove the screw.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 claws and 2 clips.

    3. Detach the cable clamp and remove the cushion shield.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH

    1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 claws and remove the cushion shield.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and detach the 3 clamps.

    2. Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly RH.

  6. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Remove the rubber band from the seat cushion spring.

      Disconnect the seat heater connector and detach the wire harness clamp.

      w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:


      1. Detach the fastening tape and open the cover.

      2. Disconnect the airbag wire harness.

      Using a moulding remover, remove the clip.

      Detach the hook.

      Disconnect the seat heater connector and detach the 3 wire harness clamps.

    7. Detach the hooks.

      Detach the claw and disconnect the connector.

    9. Remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

  7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

    1. Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Cut off the tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater from the front seat cushion cover.
