REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Face to Face Seat Type) REASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the seatback frame and 2 bushes.

    2. Install the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEAT BAND SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the seat band with the screw.

  3. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the seatback cover to the seatback pad.

  4. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover with pad to the seatback frame with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  5. INSTALL REAR SIDE SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad.

  6. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover with pad to the seat cushion frame with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

    2. Close the 2 fasteners.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR SIDE SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the spring to the seat cushion leg.

    2. Install the seat cushion leg and 2 spacers.

    3. Install the 2 pins and 2 washers.

    4. Install 2 new E-rings.

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR SEAT LEG BRACKET COVER


    1. Attach the claw to install the cover.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR SEAT LEG BRACKET COVER


    1. Attach the guide to install the cover.

    2. Install the screw.
