REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat Type LH Side) REASSEMBLY

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL NO. 3 SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the 4 clips to install the seat cushion under carpet LH to the No. 3 seat leg.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)


    1. Attach the 4 clips to install the seat cushion under carpet RH to the No. 2 seat leg.

  3. INSTALL NO. 3 SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, install the seatback frame with the 4 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT LOCK CABLE

      Twist the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow to connect it.

    2. Attach the clamp to install the cable.

  5. INSTALL FOLD SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Twist the cable end in the direction indicated by the arrow to connect it.

    2. Attach the 2 clamps labeled A to install the cable.

    3. Install the clamp labeled B together with the No. 2 seat lock cable.

    4. Install 2 new cable ties.

  6. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER RECLINING COVER LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws and guide to install the cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  7. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT INNER RECLINING COVER LH


    1. Attach the 5 claws to install the cover.

  8. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 SEAT OUTER RECLINING COVER LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws and guide to install the cover.

    2. Install the screw.

  9. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 SEAT INNER RECLINING COVER LH


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

  10. INSTALL NO. 2 SEATBACK COVER


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

  11. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. Install the protector to the seatback pad with new tack pins.

  12. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Tech Tips


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  13. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Attach the hooks to install the seatback cover with pad.

  14. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the 7 clips to install the board.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK RELEASE LEVER ASSEMBLY

      Twist the 2 cable ends in the direction indicated by the arrow to connect them.

    2. Attach the 2 clamps.

    3. Attach the hook.

    4. Install the lever with the 2 screws.

  17. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER

  18. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the rope hook with the bolt.

      Torque:
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

    2. Attach the 2 claws to close the cover.

  19. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Attach the 2 guides.

    2. Install the lever with the screw.

  27. INSTALL 3RD SEAT LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the 4 guides and 2 claws to install the link.

    2. Install the 3 clips.

  28. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Using a T40 "TORX" socket wrench, install the seat cushion frame with the 4 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      25 N*m  { 255 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }

    2. Pull out the seat cushion frame.

  29. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION MOULDING


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the moulding.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  30. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION INNER EDGE PROTECTOR LH


    1. Install the protector to the seat cushion pad with new tack pins.

  31. INSTALL NO. 3 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

      Tech Tips


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

  32. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. Attach the 2 hooks to install the seat cushion cover with pad.

    2. Close the seat cushion cover under part with the 2 clips.

    3. Close the 2 fasteners.

  33. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION MOULDING


    1. Attach the 4 guides and 2 claws to install the moulding.

    2. install the 2 clips.

  34. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, install the inner belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  35. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOWER CUSHION HINGE COVER RH


    1. Attach the guide and 2 claws to install the cover.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  36. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOWER CUSHION HINGE COVER LH


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the cover.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  37. INSTALL CAP


    1. Install the 2 caps.

  38. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the headrest.
