  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE LH

    1. Install the handle.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure the handle is straight when installing it, and check that it is centered.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the seat cushion frame with the 6 nuts.

      Torque:
      32 N*m  { 326 kgf*cm, 24 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    *1 Outer Belt Installation Bolt

    1. Temporarily install the seatback frame with the 2 bolts and 2 "TORX" bolts.

    2. Install the bolt to the bolt hole for the outer belt.

    3. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the 2 "TORX" bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    4. Tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    5. Remove the bolt from the bolt hole for the outer belt.

  4. INSTALL REAR BACK LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the lever with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE


    1. Install the cable to the seat frame.

    2. Attach the 3 cable clamps and connect the cable.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE


    1. Install the cable to the seat frame.

    2. Attach the 3 cable clamps and connect the cable.

    3. Install 4 new cable ties.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH

    Note

    When installing the retractor, make sure the claws of the vehicle (labeled "a" in the illustration) only contact the installation areas of the retractor.


    1. Align the claws with the seat belt positioning holes and install the retractor of the seat belt with the nut and bolt as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      First install the bolt, and then install the nut.

      Torque:
      for bolt
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }
      for nut
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE


    1. Attach the guide and claw to install the belt guide.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION SPRING DAMPER


    1. Install the damper with the 2 nuts.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER INNER LH


    1. Attach the guide and claw to install the cover.

  11. INSTALL CAP


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the cap.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT REAR CUSHION MOULDING LH

    1. Move the moulding in the direction of the arrow to attach the guide.

    2. Attach the 4 claws and clip to install the moulding.

  13. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

    2. Install the 2 screws.

  14. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER RECLINING COVER LH


    1. Attach the guide and install the cover with the 2 screws.

  15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. Install the protector to the seatback frame.

  16. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER

    1. Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

  17. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Connect the outer belt to the seatback cover with pad.

    1. Attach the 7 clips to install the carpet.

    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

    1. Connect the outer belt to the cover.

    1. Install the cover with the 3 screws.

    1. Attach the guide and 3 claws to install the cover.

    1. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, install the bracket and bush with the "TORX" bolt.

    1. Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, install the bracket and bush with the "TORX" bolt.

      Torque:

  43. INSTALL CENTER SEAT HINGE COVER

    1. Install the protector to the cushion spring.
