REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY (for 60/40 Split Double-folding Seat Type RH Side) INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK STRIKER


    1. Install the striker with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      13 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Attach the claw and install the striker with the 2 bolts.

    2. Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH


    1. w/o Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Connect each connector.

      2. Pass the rear seatback lock control lever base through the deck trim side panel.

      3. Attach the 5 clips and 8 claws to install the deck trim side panel.

      4. Install the 4 bolts and screw.

      5. Attach the 6 claws and 2 guides to install the rear seatback lock control lever base to the deck trim side panel.

      6. Install the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    2. w/ Rear No. 2 Seat:


      1. Connect each connector.

      2. Attach the 4 clips and 8 claws to install the deck trim side panel.

      3. Install the 2 bolts and screw.

      4. Install the rear No. 2 seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      5. Install the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

        Torque:
        42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER (w/ Tonneau Cover)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other front deck side trim cover.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front deck side trim cover

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (w/o Tonneau Cover)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other No. 1 tonneau cover holder cap.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 tonneau cover holder cap.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook.


    1. Install the No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook by turning it clockwise.

  7. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other rear No. 1 seat outer lap belt anchor cover.


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the rear No. 1 seat outer lap belt anchor cover.

  8. INSTALL REAR FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the rear floor carpet.

    1. Install the floor side rail with the 3 bolts.

  11. INSTALL REAR FLOOR REAR MAT SUPPORT PLATE


    1. Attach the 5 clips and 4 claws to install the rear floor mat rear support plate.

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the clip to install the No. 1 deck board.

  13. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

    Use the same procedure for the other front luggage compartment trim cover.


    1. Install the luggage hold belt striker and front luggage compartment trim cover with the bolt.

    2. Attach the 4 claws to install the cap.

  14. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)


    1. Install the tonneau cover.

  15. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

    1. Align the paint mark on the rear door opening trim weatherstrip with the mark position on the vehicle and install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.

  16. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH


    1. Attach the 3 clips, 6 claws and 2 guides to install the rear door scuff plate.

  17. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH


    1. for Face to Face Seat Type:

      Install the rear No. 2 seat assembly Click here.

  18. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL LEVER BASE RH


    1. Attach the cable clamp to connect the cable.

    2. A00JXIT

      Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to attach the 2 guides.

    3. Attach the 6 claws to install the lever base.

  19. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Install the hinge with the bolt.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  20. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

    *1 Positioning Wire

    1. Fold down the seatback, set the seatback positioning wire on the hinge, and then temporarily install the bolt to the hinge.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Restore the seatback to the upright position and temporarily install the seatback with the 2 bolts.

    3. Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    4. Attach the 2 claws and connect the outer belt with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  21. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD CARPET ASSEMBLY RH


    1. Attach the 2 claws and 5 clips to install the carpet.

  22. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER


    1. Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

    2. Restore the seatback to the upright position and lock it.

  23. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the headrest.

  24. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Temporarily install the seat cushion with the 2 bolts.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

    2. Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Torque:
      37 N*m  { 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf }

    3. Lock the seat cushion.
