REAR POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM Fold Seat Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the fold seat switch is operated, a switch operation signal is sent to the fold seat control ECU. The ECU receives switch operation signals from each switch and activates the reclining motor and cushion motor.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOLD SEAT CONTROL ECU (FOLD SEAT SWITCH SIGNAL)


    1. Check the No. 1 fold seat switch signal.


      1. Remove the fold seat control ECU with its connectors still connected Click here.

      2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Voltage
        for LH Side
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        d1-10 (FLD2) - Body ground No. 1 fold seat switch LH off 11 to 14 V
        No. 1 fold seat switch LH fold Below 1 V
        d1-14 (RTN2) - Body ground No. 1 fold seat switch LH off 11 to 14 V
        No. 1 fold seat switch LH return Below 1 V
        for RH Side
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        c1-10 (FLD2) - Body ground No. 1 fold seat switch RH off 11 to 14 V
        No. 1 fold seat switch RH fold Below 1 V
        c1-14 (RTN2) - Body ground No. 1 fold seat switch RH off 11 to 14 V

    2. Check No. 2 fold seat switch signal.

    2. Disconnect the Q11*1 or R33*2 switch connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
