SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU


    1. A0099ATE02

      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      Install the seat belt control ECU with the bolt.

      Torque:
      7.0 N*m  { 71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  2. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY


    1. A009BUE

      Connect the connector.

      Note

      When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

    2. Install the airbag assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect each connector and each cable.

    2. w/o Knee Airbag:


      1. Attach the 7 clips to install the lower instrument panel finish panel.

    3. w/ Knee Airbag:


      1. Attach the 14 clips to install the lower instrument panel finish panel.

    4. Install the 2 bolts <C>.

    5. Attach the 2 claws to close the cover.

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. for LHD:


      1. Attach the 2 clips and 2 guides to install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover.

      2. Install the screw.

    2. for RHD:


      1. Attach the 3 clips and 2 guides to install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover.

      2. Install the screw.

  5. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY


    1. Connect each connector.

    2. Attach the 4 clips to install the instrument panel finish panel.

  6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ORNAMENT (for LHD)


    1. Attach the 3 clips to install the instrument cluster finish panel ornament.

  7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE GARNISH (for RHD)


    1. Connect each connector.

    2. Attach the 4 clips to install the instrument panel finish plate garnish.

  8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (for LHD)


    1. Attach the 5 clips, claw and 3 guides to install the instrument side panel.

  9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (for RHD)


    1. Connect the connector.

    2. Attach the 5 clips, claw and 3 guides to install the instrument side panel.

  10. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for LHD)


    1. Attach the clip and claw to install the cowl side trim board.

    2. Install the clip.

  11. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH (for RHD)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  12. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH (for LHD)


    1. Attach the 4 clips, 10 claws and 2 guides to install the door scuff plate.

  13. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH (for RHD)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  15. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
