    1. Customizing with the intelligent tester


      1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the ignition switch ON.

      3. Turn the intelligent tester on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Warning or Display.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Warning
        Display Default Content Setting Relevant ECU
        Driver Side Seatbelt Warning Buzzer* ON Function to turn on/off the seat belt warning buzzer ON or OFF Combination meter assembly
        Front Passenger Side Seatbelt Warning Buzzer* ON Function to turn on/off the seat belt warning buzzer ON or OFF Combination meter assembly

        • *: This setting is only valid for the buzzer which sounds at 20 km/h (12 mph) or more

        Units By Region*1, *2 Units of Destination Function to change the unit of the display Km/l JP, Km/l, Ml/g US or Ml/g UK Combination meter assembly
        Language*1, *2 Language of Destination Function to change the language of the display Eng US, Eng UK, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, CHN Sim, CHN Trd or Russian Combination meter assembly
        ECO Drive Indicator*3 ON Function to enable or disable eco driving indicator zone display in the multi-information display ON or OFF Combination meter assembly

        • *2: except 5L-E

        • *3: for Automatic Transmission
