UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH REMOVAL

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.


  1. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER


    1. A00JWS7

      Turn the steering wheel to the left as necessary to remove the screw.

    2. A00JZH5

      Turn the steering wheel to the right as necessary to remove the screw.

    3. A00K020

      for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic:


      1. Remove the screw.

    4. A00JWN8

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the lower steering column cover.

  2. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

      Detach the 4 clips and claw to remove the upper steering column cover.

  3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A00JZOW

      w/ Rain Sensor:

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. A00K1W6

      w/o Rain Sensor:

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    3. Detach the claw and remove the windshield wiper switch assembly.

  4. REMOVE UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the unlock warning switch connector.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.

    4. Remove the unlock warning switch.
