DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the parking assist ECU receives a signal via CAN communication from the spiral cable sub-assembly that indicates a power supply system problem.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note


  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the display and navigation module display after the battery terminal disconnected, correct the steering angle neutral point Click here.

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed Click here.

  • Inspect the fuse for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY POWER SUPPLY)

      Disconnect the G33 spiral cable sub-assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G33-2 (ESS) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G33-5 (IG) - G33-2 (ESS) Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      G33-6 (BAT) - G33-2 (ESS) Always 11 to 14 V
