INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK TAILLIGHT


    1. Turn the light control switch to the TAIL position.

    2. Check that the taillight turns on.

      OK
      Taillight turns on.

    NG

    GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM Click here

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU - BATTERY)

      (to Clearance Warning ECU)

      Disconnect the I1 clearance warning ECU connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      I1-11 (TL) - Body ground Ignition switch ON, light control switch TAIL 7 V or higher
      Ignition switch ON, light control switch not TAIL Below 1.5 V

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK
