NAVIGATION SYSTEM (for HDD), Diagnostic DTC:B1591, B15D1

DTC Code DTC Name
B1591 No Response from Audio HU
B15D1 Audio HU Disconnected

DESCRIPTION

The display and navigation module display and the radio receiver assembly are connected by the MOST communication line.

When a MOST communication error occurs between the display and navigation module display and the radio receiver assembly, this DTC will be stored.

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B1591

Within the time-out period, there is no response from the radio receiver assembly to the following requests from the master unit:

  • The system inspection request.

  • The system inspection result request.

  • The diagnostic memory request.

  • Radio receiver assembly power source circuit

  • MOST circuit between radio receiver assembly and stereo component amplifier assembly

  • MOST circuit between radio receiver assembly and television display assembly*2

  • MOST circuit between radio receiver assembly and display and navigation module display*3

  • Radio receiver assembly

  • Stereo component amplifier assembly

  • Television display assembly*2

  • Display and navigation module display*3

B15D1*1

Either condition is met:

  • The radio receiver assembly is/was not connected while the ignition switch is ON (IG or ACC).

  • Communication between the master unit and radio receiver assembly is not possible when the engine is started.

Tech Tips

  • *1: Even if no fault is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the battery condition or engine start voltage.

  • The display and navigation module display is the master unit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

Note

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK OPTIONAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING ASSOCIATED WIRING)

    1. Check for optional components.

      1. Check that optional components (including associated wiring) which generate radio waves are not installed.
