QUARTER TRIM SPEAKER (for 3 Door) INSTALLATION

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


  1. INSTALL NO. 2 SPEAKER BRACKET


    1. Align the positioning pin of the speaker bracket with the hole and temporarily install the bracket.

    2. Install the No. 2 speaker bracket with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not touch the cone of the speaker.

    3. Attach the clamp.

  2. INSTALL REAR SPEAKER SET


    1. Temporarily install the speaker by attaching the 2 claws of the speaker to the door panel.

    2. Install the speaker with the 3 screws.

      Note

      Do not touch the cone of the speaker.

    3. Connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the 9 claws and 11 clips to install the deck trim side panel.

    2. Install the 3 bolts and 2 screws.

    3. Install the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    4. Install the front seat outer belt floor anchor with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other outer lap belt anchor cover.


    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the outer lap belt anchor cover.

  5. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM POCKET TRAY


    1. Attach the 6 claws and 2 guides to install the quarter trim pocket tray.

  6. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER (w/ Tonneau Cover)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other front deck side trim cover.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the front deck side trim cover.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 TONNEAU COVER HOLDER CAP (w/o Tonneau Cover)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other tonneau cover holder cap.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the tonneau cover holder cap.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook.


    1. Install the No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook so that it is positioned horizontally.

  9. INSTALL REAR FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the rear floor carpet.

  10. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM COVER HOLE LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws and 2 guides to install the quarter trim cover hole.

  11. INSTALL REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE


    1. Attach the 6 claws to install the rear floor mat rear support plate.

    2. Install the 5 screws.

  12. INSTALL MAT SET PLATE COVER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all mat set plate covers.


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the mat set plate cover.

  13. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)


    1. Install the tonneau cover.

  14. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

    *2 Mark Position

    1. Align the paint mark on the front door opening trim weatherstrip with the mark position on the vehicle and install the front door opening trim weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.

  15. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the 4 clips, 10 claws and 2 guides to install the door scuff plate.

  16. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY


    1. for 60/40 Split Tumble Seat Type LH Side:

      Install the rear No. 1 seat assembly Click here.

    2. for 60/40 Split Tumble Seat Type RH Side:

      Install the rear No. 1 seat assembly Click here.

  17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
