STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type) REMOVAL


  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  2. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY

    1. Detach the 4 clips.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the integration control and panel assembly.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION

    *1 Protective Tape

    1. Put protective tape around the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion.

    2. Using a moulding remover, detach the 5 clips and remove the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL CUSHION

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 instrument panel finish panel cushion.

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

    1. Detach the 4 clips and remove the instrument panel finish panel end.

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH

    1. Detach the 4 clips.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the instrument panel finish panel end.

  7. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH

    1. Put protective tape around the front console upper panel garnish.

    2. Detach the 5 clips.

    3. Disconnect the connectors and remove the front console upper panel garnish.

  8. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL

    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the 2 clips.

      Disconnect the connectors, detach the clamps and remove the upper console panel.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly.
